Happy to announce that my work Aquarelle Lost in Digital Darkness, was displayed in the exhibition Storytelling and the Narrative in Images; a show beautifully curated by Bethany Bennett and held at Harris House, Atlantic Center for the Arts, New Smyrna Beach, Florida February 2-25, 2019.
Creating this sequence of images in response to the call-for-entry, was a joy. Here, the story which accompanies the work:
"In this glow-in-dark pixelated thriller, a misplaced aquarelle painting is accidentally scanned and wakes up in a dark digital universe, where she is mirrored, copied and manipulated. Will she be able to find the light and radiate in her new world or will she be lost forever?"
Digital print on cotton rag paper, 7 1/2â x 10 5/8â each, 9 prints total
